New College Residences University Of TorontoThe New College Residences University of Toronto offers convenient and affordable dormitory residence accommodation in Downtown Toronto. It comprises of three traditional student residence halls which are situated next to each other on the university campus: Wetmore Hall, Wilson Hall, and Willcocks Residence. This includes short- and long-term stays with basic room amenities for anyone looking to get an authentic experience of how it is to live like a Toronto student during summers and at affordable rates.
The features and amenities are the same in all three residences, with the latest renovations to the halls and lounges in some of the halls being done in 2015. The Wetmore Hall Residence has a total of 250 beds in single and double rooms and is dedicated to guests staying for longer than a month. The Wilson Hall Residence accommodates up to 300 individuals and is also suitable for short-term bookings, just like the Willcocks Residence nearby.
The non-smoking rooms are basic as to be expected, with a bed or two, a desk, chair, dresser, as well as linen, a small towel, bedspread, blanket, pillow, pillowcase and central air-conditioning. WiFi is free of charge, including wired access points for an ethernet cord.
Among other amenities, there’s a 23-hour front desk in Wilson Hall Residence, coin-operated laundry rooms with ironing facilities on each floor, as well as common rooms with communal washrooms, kitchen facilities such as a microwave, burners, sink and fridge, as well as lounge areas with TVs.
