Grand MotelGrand Motel is an economy lodging in Scarborough, just off Kingston Road which can get you to Downtown in about 30 minutes. This no-frills motel accommodates up to four guests in one room, including deluxe options with a jetted tub. Free in-room WiFi, microwave and mini-fridge, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool are all included in the inexpensive rates of this suburban motel as well.
There are mainly two types of guestrooms to choose from. This includes a Queen and a two Double bed configuration to accommodate up to four people for half the price of a hotel equivalent. There are even Queen rooms with a hot tub in the bathroom. If you’re planning on staying for longer, then weekly rates could save you some extra money as well. Note that children cannot be accommodated at the hotel, and there’s no capacity for extra beds in any of the rooms. Moreover, travellers who wish to stay with their beloved pets would have to look for a pet-friendly alternative. Click to book your Toronto tours.
That said, in-room luxuries include free WiFi, a 32-inch TV, mini-fridge and microwave. A writing desk, dining table, air-conditioning and heating come standard as well. Daily housekeeping is provided too, but there are no on-site laundry or dry-cleaning.
Your Grand Motel stay would also not include a breakfast buffet. However, you can count on several nearby restaurants and cafes, including Papa John’s Pizza; with plenty of more down the road.
The motel doesn’t have a gym, but you can relax at their outdoor swimming pool when the weather is right.
On-site parking is free and Kingston Road provides easy access to Highway 401. Some of the nearby attractions to consider include the Toronto Zoo and Scarborough city centre which is about 10-minutes’ drive.
