Having a dynamic design that responds to real-time weather conditions, the glass atrium also adds some elements of contemporary styling and comfort to the performing arts complex. Featuring five tiers, the R. Fraser Elliott Hall has 2,070 seats that are set up in a horseshoe configuration. This auditorium was designed by Diamond Schmitt, an American firm that specializes in designing entertainment facilities. Sound Space Design and other acoustics experts also contributed to the hall's layout. The Orchestra Section has 922 seats, and the Grand Ring has 128 seats, including private box-style suites. The Ring 3 level has 300 seats, and the Ring 4 level has 290 seats. Additionally, up to 430 seats are available for reservation at the Ring 5 tier. Situated between the Ring 3 and Ring 4 sections, the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre has an intimate setting for performances. Up to 100 spectators could enjoy a show at this unique space that's usually used for rehearsals and pre-function repetitions. This modern lounge has floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offer panoramic views of the historic Osgoode Hall. Private restrooms, bars and other amenities are included at this luxurious room. Located just outside of the building on University Avenue, Memorial Park is a great place to relax and socialize prior to a concert. This small urban square includes a statue of Sir Adam Beck.

Entertainment

The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts is home to the Canadian Opera Company, which is the largest cultural entity of its kind in Canada. Some notable productions of the COC include Hadrian, Elektra and Otello. The National Ballet of Canada is another permanent tenant at this venue. This organization specializes in classical ballet that's inspired by the traditions of Europe and Russia.

Visiting Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts

The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts is prominently located at the corner of University Avenue and Queen Street West. Both of these thoroughfares offer convenient transportation options in the Entertainment District. The 301, 501 and 502 TTC streetcars can drop you off just steps away from the performing arts complex. These routes run in eastbound and westbound directions along Queen Street West . The busy intersection near the attraction includes the Osgoode Station, an underground subway stop for the Yonge-University Line, which is locally known as Line 1. Multiple TTC buses also stop on Richmond Street, which marks the southern flank of the property. You can get to the building's underground parking garage from York Street. However, this covered parking facility has enough space for only 200 passenger cars. Additional parking is available at the neighboring GREEN P Lot. Taxis and other hired vehicles must drop off and pick up passengers in the designated areas on University Avenue, which runs parallel to the center's western flank.
