Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Downtown Toronto

Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Downtown Toronto

Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Downtown Toronto is a 4-star boutique hotel and spa in Old Toronto’s Financial District. This means it’s close to many top attractions, some of which can be seen from one of its suites that have floor-to-ceiling windows and a kitchenette. Although it’s not quite on par with the luxury hotels, it’s a popular choice to consider when looking for something more relaxing with onsite body treatments and beauty services.
There are 97 suites in a hotel that rises over 20 floors above the ground, and just 5 suites per floor. They all have floor-to-ceiling windows that open and private or Juliet balconies with views of the city or Lake Ontario. Designer penthouse and one-bedroom suites – which are a top choice for extended stays – are available as well. Small pets can be accommodated for a daily cleaning fee too.
Room amenities also include free high-speed WiFi, a flat-screen TV and European kitchenette with laundry facilities and a mini-bar with snacks. Keurig coffee and tea, 400-thread-count sheets, a yoga mat, bathrobes and slippers are included in the additional service fee as well.
Buffet breakfast is included for a maximum of 2 adults for an extra charge only. Plus, there are plenty of good-value cafes or restaurants in the neighbourhood. The Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan also has a restaurant, Wildfire Steakhouse & Wine Bar, which is located just off the lobby decorated with a light installation by the famous glass artist and glass fusion pioneer Rob Synder. The steakhouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The hotel’s full-service SpaZen Spa is open Wednesday – Sunday, featuring various massages, wellness rituals and body treatments. Note that there’s no indoor pool or sauna, and the fitness centre is on the small side.
There are plenty of attractions to explore nearby, including the Hockey Hall of Fame and Sony Centre for Performing Arts. Metro stations are just on the corner of Yonge Street and King Street as well. On-site parking is available for a fee too.
